    As I was staring blankly at the screen in front of me, I had a dream that I would be able to finish my homework on time. Today was a very different than most, because it included movies, drawing, writing and football games. Sitting in my first period class I watch as Principal Janivier takes a seat in my history class. It got me thinking about how people with power don't always use it. In the movie we watched in Mr.Sutherland's class about race, and how it came to be, I noticed how this country could have been much different than it is today. Pondering on their idea of having rights that give you the freedom to many important things such as speech, press, and others.
    After lunch break I walked into English class and realized Mr.Sutherland was not there to teach us. Instead we had a substitute teacher. To ensure that we all watched the movie we took notes on how race came to be and how it is only an idea. I looked over to the person next-to-me's paper and saw way they took notes in a form of illustration. After class I went to my Locker and grabbed my cinnamon rolls and went on my way to my last class of the day. After eating one and giving one to Nabeel, and to Johnson, I felt very alive and full of energy.

    Walking down to the football field, I Listen to my pump up music and get psyched for the game that was placed before us. Changing my pads from my practice pants to my game pants was hard for me because I was over excited for the game and it took me forever. I put on all My gear, tie my shoes and walk over to the Varsity locker room. We get some review of what we would be playing and set off to stretch and start the game. We nearly won the game but in the last three minutes of the game the other team scored, extinguishing the hope that burned in our chests.
