What is the simplest way you know of greeting someone? I always thought about "hi" or 'hello" or something along those lines. I was thinking to myself what about the time of day that always seems to change what you say, "Good Morning" or "Good Afternoon" but I was wrong or was I? It seems like it also depends on where they were from, for instance "Good Day" or "top of the Morning to You". What a wonderful thing but, that was some of the English words that are used, we can't exclude other languages, "Hola"-Spanish "Bonjour"-French and "Guten Tag"- German.
Is our world awesome? Sometimes I want the Earth to stop spinning, so I can enjoy life and create the things in life that everyone wanted. It always spins creating new life and taking life away, what does it want? me? you? who? what? when? where? and why? Small questions like this can explain everything. Life goes by soo fast that you need to take the bull by the horns and take the reins, and control your life. As life progresses you notice things that you never seemed to pay attention to before. Searching for the answers in your life can create peace of mind or the reciprocal of what you wanted.
One of the reasons just a simple greeting is important is because it can create a domino effect and everyone will be greeted and everyone happy is a happy world. This earth is always spinning on a pattern if you alter that pattern life would be just a little easier for all of us young and old, sick and healthy, short and tall, skinny and fat, and other opposites. Just giving that ignition to someones' engine can create that spark they need to keep themselves stay tuned up and ready to roll.

I like the segment on the greetings you brought up some valid points. yes life does go by to fast and if you stop to think about it you miss it so I just live it, no questions because to me where are here for a short while so why don't we make the best of it.
ReplyDeleteI find I have to make it a deliberate habit to say hi to strangers, make eye contact, and smile when I'm walking down the street...Way too often, people are in the habit of walking with heads down, ignoring everyone else. It makes a big difference...And in some other cultures, it's totally different--it's weird when strangers DON'T greet each other.
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit confused by your second paragraph...Sounds almost like an entire post in and of itself. (Hint, hint.)
