Planning ahead for the last quarter of the school year, I decided that I had four main points to reach. One was to do all of my homework in all of my classes. Another was to stay active, eat right, and being prepared for the future of my life. Third I plan to get a 3.5 or above to finish the quarter. Last but not least, meet new people and new relationships. To plan out the whole idea of my life is a challenge, so I am doing it in an orderly fashion, one at a time.
How am I going to do all of my homework in all of my classes? I don't know yet, but I will try. Considering that I pay attention in class, I might be able to do my homework with better ease, therefore making me able to do all of my homework in a shorter period of time, reducing the amount of homework missing. If I bring my homework assignments home, with the book, and the directions, that would also improve the homework percentage. Also if I do not understand a concept, I will ask a fellow classmate how to do a problem and have them explain it to me one step at a time.
Also during the end of the school year I want to remain active, and meet my new years resolutions. I want to keep my eating habits down and replace them with healthier selections of foods that can help get rid of the impediments in my life. Through out my life I have always been active, but the problem is that eating too much is literally killing my extended family, my parents, and my sisters, and I do not want to follow their lead on that path. I don't always want to change my habits, but the problem is that I need to.
Third on the list is to get good grades, for a good transcript for colleges to look at, and to get outstanding SAT/ACT scores. I want to get smarter, and the only way to do that is by not having grades given to me, but earning them. Learning is what High School is for. To get us prepared for the real world (not the TV show), and create a foundation of education and life skills that I will use throughout my life.
Inasmuch I need to get good grades, I need to be the best person I could possible be. I want to be able to say to my children when I am older, "When I was your age this is what I did when I had those problems..." and be able to create a solid family with the courses that I take. For instance the courses needed for graduation: current life and other electives, can help me. I want to be known as a nice guy that everyone has respect for, and who is loved and looked up to by others (not just because I'm tall).
