A song I wrote

Sometimes when I am bored, or have strong feelings, I decide to write a song. I wrote this song right before spring break, while I was waiting for school to start. I hope you like it.

When you opened your eyes I saw them sparkle
just like the stars in the sky.
I've been waiting for you a long time now
and I have some reasons why.
First I wanted to make you happy
in any way that I could.
Maybe teach you how to golf,
and tee off with a 3 wood.
Second we've been friends for a long time
but I don't know what to say.
Other than saying "I really like you",
and no I am not gay.
Third when I first saw you
I thought Jesus answered my prayers.
cuz you were an angel from heaven
and I was wishing I was there.
Fourth the fateful day
when I asked you to dance
then I realized there may be a connection
between tours and my hands.
It was like cupid and his little arrows
flying all around me hitting me right on the spot.
I had a hard time with the love bug
and I thought my heat was shot.
But now there is a chance
about what I can do
just grow up and say "I really like you"
and hope you say "Me gusta tu"
all of the things that keep us apart
I will knock them down
I will treat you like my queen
and give you a beautiful crown.
I'll send you on your dream vacation
Just so we can be,
Together forever,
just you and me.
And if it doesn't work out,
there is no reason to fret,
cuz all of the things I did
you might not have noticed them yet.

This song was when I really had a crush on a girl, and didn't know what to do about it. It was a challenging time trying to put the song together in an appropriate way, without taking away the feeling. I am still working on the tune and the notes that I will connect with the lyrics, to make a stronger sense of emotion. highs and lows, and fasts and slows, help create the emotion in my song. I have more to the son but it changes because I wrote it on another day and it didn't make any sense. Now all I have to do is change some of the lyrics to make it more descriptive towards the girl I like, and make it into a super song. A super song is a song that never goes out of style. Throughout this school year, I have been writing lyrics, but the problem is that I don't have a beat for the songs, or the speed I want it to be. After all of this is done, I am hoping that I will be able to sing one during a talent show in front of the whole school and pronounce the love I feel for the girl.
